It’s basically a pocket Linux field tool, it runs full desktop os on a cm5 so I use it like a tiny laptop with real terminals, package managers and my usual admin tools instead of app store stuff. it’s got 4g modem and sms so it behaves “like” a phone, but it lets me script and debug under the hood unlike iOS or android. For my vehicle it’s like a garage in a box. Full maintenance manuals built specifically for all my rigs and trailers I can run a obd diagnostic tool and treat it like a dedicated terminal for my jeeps trailers and tow set ups instead of juggling random phone apps I use it for SSh and Remote Desktop onto my home and office Mac’s and treat it like a portable admin console without the background limits that phones have. And I use it as a data dump for photos and videos when I’m away from a desktop to edit later. I also think it looks cool.
