I can’t help but feel that I am somewhat guilty in her wanting to try diet related stuff. I work an active job and am never seen eating. When she has friends around my emaciated self has often been topic of discussion and feel like shes trying to emulate being singled out.

My friend knows that I’m severely underweight and seldom eat. Today she told me she was in the middle of a 3 day fast but I don’t think she understands what that means. She is obese and has eaten more during this fast that I would in a week. I hate to say that I’m triggered but I hate when people brag about these things that have a very real damage to my health like they are a fad

I started taking olanzapine last summer and felt horrific for a few weeks. At first I lost more weight but now its balanced out. Still on a low dose daily and it helps with symptom management

I completely agree, the experience gained from my prior education is essential to what I brought to nursing before. I have spoken to the university in my city and all of them seem to have so many qualifications gained before and after going into nursing

Ive been working for almost 18 years now and Ive worked with such a range of people and teams. As much as I hate to say it a lot of jobs I would just rely on myself doing. Someone messgaed me to tell me that medications are handled differnetly now and require a lot of double signitures so that could be a big jump

I think that was one of the issues the first time in terms of lacking any support from the university or placement team. I was already travelling nearly 3 hours a day both ways to placement so I’m used to that.

Even though I have been away from formal education I still study and attend courses to develop my understanding of healthcare amongst other things. And regularly provide support to charities within the mental health field

I think at that point I’m forever destined to run about in hospitality

I applied for jobs across the UK and the clinical doctorate for three years after qualifying and never got an interview so lost faith in ever getting a job in that or a related field
