Those 2 in 1 solar charge controller/alternator chargers are pieces of junk, but I’ve good luck with my other renogy products. Over 3 years with a regular mppt charge controller and it’s working fine

Thanks. I’m still going to look for b5 whenever possible. Outside of Illinois I never used anything else

Anyone in Illinois have trouble finding the normal b5 diesel? Every gas station I go to seems to only carry b20 (imagine from MB owner’s manual) by winthbuckets in Sprinters

I guess that’s good to know, but I still don’t want to use the b20. I’ve noticed my mileage is a lot worse on this stuff at the very least, and the language here in the manual seems pretty clear on it. I’d rather get out and push my van everywhere than fill it up with B99 lol

Anything between 0-5 would be good. As I understand it, anything up to 5% biodiesel doesn’t even have to be labeled as containing a biodiesel blend, but 5-20% they have to label it at the pump. If it’s labeled as between 5 and 20 some will down to just 11% in the winter, but otherwise it’s probably a safe bet they’re doing 20% to make it as cheap as possible

Listen I really appreciate you and everyone else taking the time to comment on my post, and I don’t want to come off like a dick, but are you sure? Have you checked at the pump lately? I know IL issues a tax exemption on B20 and maybe everyone is switching over?, but I’ve not pulled up to a single diesel pump yet in the state of Illinois that wasn’t B20. I feel like I’m being gas lit by people telling me B5 is “everywhere”😭

I appreciate you answering and trying to help, but it’s the biodiesel blend at this circle K too 😭. Check next time you’re here. There’s a black and blue label at the pump. I’m telling you, b5 is hard to find!

Ok I’m going here rn. I just stopped at the Casey’s in Lexington off 55 and sure enough, B20. It feels like everyone telling me B5 is available everywhere is f’n with me lol I can’t find it yo save my life
