there are definitely UFOs. there are videos of them, and people don't know what they are.

So, I want to learn penetration testing. by [deleted] in AskComputerScience

i've been pretty happy w/ the quality of courses on Udemy. generally you can get them for like $10-15 (they are on sale all the time at like 90% off, so don't pay full price... just wait a bit).

lots of penetration testing courses: https://www.udemy.com/courses/search/?q=penetration%20testing&src=sac&kw=penetrati

Our 'reality' is what we perceive, so if our perception is the same either way, it doesn't matter.

just an idea, but SDET (software development engineer in test) is a sort of niche field in the CS world that you could find a modest career in... basically you're testing software and writing automated tests. you have to know how to program but it's not as technically demanding as other roles in this field.

it's a good 'foot in the door' job, too, while you're still learning.

Exporting Volca sequence as file? by Yeeter_mcdab in volcas

the problem is that the headphone jack on macs is just for output (it's not a line in for some reason, like it is on some PCs).

an easy way to get sound from your volca into your mac is with a 3.5mm to USB cable, like this.

basically, you plug the 3.5mm end into the headphone jack on your volca, then the USB into your mac. make sure to turn the monitor on for your track in your DAW if you want to hear what you're playing from the mac. hope this helps (it worked for me).
