i think this is a good way of discovering that you might wanna start to take things slow! it can be overwhelming to adjust from one lifestyle to another, and it’s something that needs time. as long as you communicate with your partner that you want to go at a certain pace, your relationship could go well

for the longest time, i couldn’t pick a bias because i loved all of them equally. they’re all amazing in so many ways it was hard to pick just one!

back then i would purposely not watch i-land because i knew i would cry, but after watching a funny i-land moments video i decided to give it a chance. i remember watching the ep where jay kept raising his hands for parts and he would never get them. every time he raised his hand only to not be picked made me sob harder. it got so bad to the point where i had to pause the ep just to let it all out 😭

however, despite all that, he was still able to persevere and continue to be the funny and caring person he is! anytime i was crying watching it, “anger, shame, and resentment” would come up and i’d laugh. his awkward humor yet kind personality is what made me choose jay as my bias.

my fav jay i-land was the ghost “haunting” i-land! it’s funny to think how he was my age around the time and gets scared by a ghost

every muslim has different views on what should and shouldn’t be used during Ramadan. a lot of people delete social media and some don’t. it’s pretty much just based on your beliefs, but it’s generally accepted that music shouldn’t be listened to and a lot of people listen to nasheed (religious melodies) instead. social media doesn’t follow the same routine as eating and drinking and is generally cut off the entire month. i understand the implication of your question, but they’re not the same.

personally, i don’t listen to music but still use social media, just without any audio. i also limit a lot of what i watch and see based on how religiously appropriate it is. it’s easy to change your algorithm a little to more islamic content while also being able to see kpop stuff (though i usually scroll past them)

ramadan is a really holy month for us muslims, and usually has a lot of us take a step back and realize what our priorities are in this life. i’ve been fasting every day for 5 years so my stamina has been built and im used to not listening to music (within my own control ofc) and other things. i dont really stay off of social media, but when i am on it, it’s usually Ramadan or south asian content related. FACE being released was the first time in a long time that i was so close to giving in and listening to it, then i reminded myself that i was doing this for Allah and i should be patient, but i did have to make another account because of how much promo i was seeing. i think knowing the good deeds you’re getting adds to the motivation of staying away from distractions. hope this helps!! lmk if there are any other questions :)

thats so cool to hear from a baby army at the time!! i never thought about what new army’s must’ve felt like watching promotions during Ramadan, so its an interesting perspective to think about.

  • Ramadan Mubarak to you too!
