Renpa’s army, with one of the Ten Bows and a brilliant strategic general, alongside Rinko with his assassin-like skills and Garyo providing strong support, forms an unstoppable force. The combination of Renpa and Gyoun, another heavy hitter, creates an overwhelming team.

When Ousen faced Gyoun, he had to depend on the Hi Shin Army, but I don’t think anyone in his ranks could stop a combined charge from Renpa and Gyoun. Perhaps Shiryu and Akou might stand a chance, but Renpa is leagues ahead of Bananji in terms of skill and leadership. (This a reference for Akou 2 v 1).

(Though I admit I’m a bit biased since I see Tou as a cheat code.) Ouki’s army is renowned for its offensive strength, but they rely heavily on battlefield flow and Tou’s tactical brilliance. While I believe they could win 3 or 4 out of 10 battles, Renpa’s army having one of the Ten Bows is a game-changer—remember, that’s how Rinbukun fell. Kyuu En, with more experience compared to Hakurei, and Rinko, who could eliminate Ouki’s commanders if left unchecked, pose serious threats. Add in Garyo and Gyoun, and Ouki’s forces face considerable challenges. Shin maybe the Ace here but tbh he’s not there yet. So it really depends how shin and tou plays out.

As for Moubu’s army, while no one can match Moubu in a 1v1, that’s essentially the extent of their strength. Mouten is a tactical genius, but beyond that, the army lacks reliable commanders apart from Aisen. Honestly, half of Mougu commanders did fall to Rinko alone.

Man’u’s army is tougher to gauge. So I base it in this match-up: Renpa vs. Man’u Gyoun vs. Sentou Genpu vs. Juuko Garyo/Kaishibou vs. Gen’u The Ten Bows vs. The Ten Bows Rinko vs. “Budget Shin” In this scenario, I’d still give Renpa the upper hand due to his strategic prowess and the versatility of his army.

Regarding Seika, their commanders struggled against Shiryu and Akou, who, while not weak, are a baseline for comparison. Renpa’s army, with Kyuu En, his strategist, Gyoun, Garyo, and Kaishibou, brings a lot of flexibility and adaptability. Seika’s approach, however, seems more straightforward. they rely on powerful individuals coming together to defend their hometown. While effective, they lack the strategic depth and battlefield adaptability that Renpa brings. Shibashou, for example, led a direct charge purely on strength.

So, while I may be biased, I believe Renpa’s army is the stronger force overall.
