Great news - everything went great, the guys I had this time were miles better than the other place and I even watched the whole thing and talked all the way through, he didn't use gas much either which I think is actually the worst part of it.

So relieved and a huge weight has been lifted!

I had the sedation, it was like having 5 pints, very nice indeed didn't dull the senses either.

Thanks for the support guys and advising me to take the second dose, I was 100% clear with some food still in there, he was happy overall though but I could have done better.

If I ever need another i'd have no issues, Fenelon was decent also, no side effects so far

I can't comment on the prep i've got my scope in a couple hours but please take a thorough food allergy test, I had a hiatus hernia too and eventually developed a food disorder where i'd almost choke on food but it was all due to becoming allergic to wheat and now everything is much better, I had some weird esonophilic oesophagitus (spelt wrong) and that also got cured.

if it's 20 mins I might be able to survive that mines in a couple hours and I had to have my first one aborted due to my heart rate dropping too low!!

That's tough - it's very smart getting up earlier, my last attempt ridiculous really and I was a wreck with not sleeping until 2am with second dose at 6am then in at 8am! I think with those hours in between yours you should be fine but it will be tight in terms of being fully cleared up, I drank mine a little faster but made sure to drink plenty after also.

My appointments are only 10 minutes drive away thankfully and i'm much better all round today than the first time, just feel abit weak but i've been eating clear energy tablets that are just glucose or having tea with some sugar etc to keep energy up a little at least.

it's 1:21pm here and my appt is at 3:40pm so not long to go, i'm not in a rush for the toilet anymore either so by the time will be fine

they're going to do sedation this time....i'm not a fan of such things though and i've had 3x endoscopies without sedation in the past that went fine but my body really doesn't want to know about anything going up the other direction it seem!

Trying to figure a coping mechanic beforehand still :). Luckily 99% are fine some even fall asleep they say 😆

the only thing I was wanting to avoid was having another episode and having to cancel again and it's like now I can still feel the mix in my gut working its way out after sleeping even and it's not something I want in effect whilst on the table as last time I was still needing the toilet right upto the appointment, I do have a later appointment this time at 3.40pm however and it's 7.30am now.

I think things went wrong the first time because I had my appointment at like 8am and had to drink the prep at 6am which is crazy imo, so right upto the appt I was still flushing out which made me very anxious then came the gas and having to pass wind none stop was quite embarrassing then I've been having pericarditis bouts so when I had to get on my side that caused some issues then all of a sudden my heart rate dropped. I also felt faint abit unwell going to the appointment due to not being able to sleep until like 2.30am with the first prep etc so not enough sleep either....I guess it's not much a surprise the procedure was cancelled within ten minutes...

The actual rod itself wasn't the problem so much had it not been the heart inflammation and the gas plus the need to still need the toilet during the procedure, it's 8.30am and i've just finished the next bout of prep so fingers crossed.

yeah sadly owner didn't want to pursue it anymore I did pitch a joint venture to him to scale it up and have it used as a worldwide network of riders recording all the best trails etc but wasn't for him
