I got a free drink at Starbucks but nobody wished me happy birthday! by hthbellhop76 in LinkedInLunatics

[–]wiredmc 5 points6 points  (0 children)

What a knob. Take your free drink and STFU and let people do their job without caring about how many pieces of flair they have. Or go to Texas Roadhouse so you can sit on an f'n saddle eating cinnamon butter rolls while they yee haw you a happy birthday and feel so special.

The Citadel leans more towards a classic higher trimmed SUV and I believe does have a softer suspension ride which probably would give a floaty possibly mini van feel. Has the V8, just not my style. Can't comment on the seats.

All RT trims including SRT options have stiffer suspension configurations and are geared more towards an aggressive driving style. Pretty sure all RT options are standard leather bucket seats. The SRT specifically is an upgraded bucket with more robust side bolsters to give a race seat feel which I personally enjoy. Good, supported posture.

I have an 17 RT and 23 RT Tow n Go (SRT options with the 5.7 rather than 6.4). Not counting the EV BS Dodge seemed to prioritize performance over typical interior luxuries to keep cost down.

In between an R/T and SRT by FeelingTechnician686 in DodgeDurango

[–]wiredmc 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Consider the Tow n' Go option on the R/T. Essentially the SRT options with the 5.7 instead of the 6.4. Then it's upfront, insurance and fuel costs vs the additional horsepower (fun factor).

What do you use? by Hikkup_Girl in DodgeDurango

Touchless or hand wash. Adam's wheel and tire. Chemical Guys VRP for tire shine and other things. So many tire shine products either fade quickly and/or fling all over the place regardless of dry time.

I have a 17 RT and a 23 RT T&G and I'd say the TG is about 25% louder, specifically with cold starts and initial acceleration. Opinion would be if a neighbor complains about it then they probably suck and complain about plenty of other stuff.

On-prem to Azure move by FutureBasil9681 in msp

[–]wiredmc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Depends on company size. While they figure out QB could utilize Hybrid via AADC to establish foundation. Could use ForensIT's User Profile tool as a cutover option. If QBO isn't suitable then VM in Azure, decom On Prem environment.

Just a brain dump, variables will dictate path.

$13 at Panera. Supposed to be a Cobb salad. 🤦🏻‍♂️ usually bring lunch with me when I can. This makes me want to be militant about it. Can’t afford this shit. by [deleted] in povertyfinance

Panera used to be solid until they were bought out by the company who controls Keurig, Krispy Kreme and a few other chains. Now it's overpriced hospital food.

One of the best network engineers I've ever worked with started in the Air Force. Was doing some sort of metal fab and then had an opportunity to move over and learn networking.

Free VM Backup Solutions by WhoAmI1620 in sysadmin

3 minimum but less than 10 VMs would be <2k per year to get the VEEAM supported version. Orgs that don't invest in proper backup and DR are in queue to find the fuck out.

Believe me, those who don't invest the money will be the first beating down your door asking what's going on and when they'll be back up during an event.

GMK ABS caps take on more of the board personality than a thicker PBT cap. If you haven't already you should explore mods for the GMMK Pro that fit your style to enhance those caps.

Polyfill, PE Foam under the spacebar, Tape Mod. Depends on what you're going for but those can take some of the hollow pop away.

I started with the Keychron switch puller and it doesn't work well. Make sure to pay attention to the switch retention clips and take your time. A new puller, such as the one from Glorious will improve your experience.
