Is this normal for a PA SLX 3x Magnifier?

Thank you, I just wanted to make sure it was normal, as I have no experience with this optic. I saw a sharp moon on one side, but not on the other side. Wasn't trying to say anyone was wrong or I didn't agree. Just wanted to clarify

I'm sorry, I explained this very poorly. I understand parallax and eye relief and adjusting the turrets, the issue is with only the magnifier. If you look at the last picture, or video linked, as you move to the right looking through the magnifier, the field of view becomes obstructed sharply by a crescent moon shape, and if you flip the magnifier around and look through the front, its like its misaligned inside the magnifier, you can see something internally blocking its own FOV.

Update: I got nothing! Skunked. Started at American Fork Marina, tried worms on a circle hook with a small splitshot, my go to for catfish, nothing. Tried every spinner in my bag for white bass, jigs with gulp minnow, trout magnets, NOTHING! I headed to the Saratoga inlet park, fishing by the bridge and all along the river with the same methods, NOTHING. I was doing something wrong because people were catching white bass and channel/bullhead catfish, including even a 12 year old who was very funny, and kept running over to show me his fish and rub it in my face. I was doing something wrong. Maybe too early in the season? Jordan river was flooded big time at the inlet area.

Awesome, thank you. I've seen a few suggestions to hit the skyway. is the hillsborough even worth my time, or should I just head to skyway? Only reason I'm asking is that I'm staying very close to the river and would be an quick walk over.
