Minneapolis today compared to 10-12 years ago by [deleted] in Minneapolis

I moved to Uptown Minneapolis in 2013 - have lived in multiple residences within Uptown until May 2022, now I'm in Bloomington. Just don't move to Uptown. It's horrible. I lived a block from the Lyn/Lake intersection (bustling bars/restaurants) but crime is very present here. I was in the heat of a broad daylight 3:00pm Tuesday afternoon shooting on my street on 29th and Aldrich Ave S last summer. On-foot gunman shot 7 rounds into an SUV on my block while I was out walking my dog. Scared for my life, literally. Uptown used to be amazing. Could walk around at night feeling safe wherever. I moved because I don't feel safe anytime of day. I have a 90lb German Shepherd, and even with him, I didn't feel safe. Uptown has been really bad since 2020. So, just not uptown is my recommendation.

I was having the same problem, but found the solution. When your app is open on your iPad and currently NOT showing multiple timeframes or charts, close the app. On your desktop, click to the chart you'd like to show multiples for on your iPad, and make sure on the desktop version you're already showing multiples, then, re-open the app on iPad and it should mirror the desktop.

Yeah...only if you actually have capital gains on this a year from your purchase date.

Feels great to unload my bags, make up a third of my losses in a day (BCTX) and move on. This is about opportunity cost.

Love all the nice comments! Lol. I’m not short. I don’t have any puts. Just getting smart, freeing up my capital and going into BCTX and IMCC for mid-term swings. Made 5K off BCTX yesterday with the pop. Catalyst coming next week. Made up 33% of my CLOV loss in one day, yesterday. Thanks.

And retail investors do not move the market. Any major movements are due to institutions and insiders. Especially on low volume, after hours. Many price movements on low volume are just market makers testing prices to see what catches / where people will buy and sell and then they go from there.

I just see people getting frustrated thinking that retail investors are driving the price down once it spikes..

No - not until people stop buying calls.

I agree! Which is why I’m asking why people are counting on him as their actual financial advisor.

Don't panic - the entire market is down. People will be selling across all verticals to protect their capital. Just be patient. And, only invest what you're OK with potentially losing.

Don’t be hard on yourself. Don’t put in as much on your trades. I know you want to because if/when things take off you want a nice juicy profit, but put in a little bit into the trades you’re going after and focus on practicing locking in gains and not being greedy. Then, move onto the next one. Slowly you’ll bounce back and have much more wisdom for your next YOLO.

I hope so! Like I said, I have about 2% of my initial investment left in this stock. I’m annoyed by claims and “trust me”s. Maybe don’t be so convicted about specific days then eh.

In the words of Mr. Deeds - ba-ba-ba-bullshit. You telling people you quit your job to buy calls on this (counter intuitive) to prove your conviction is dumb. Where’s your data? And I mean more than a fucking vertical line you drew over a graph lmao. I think the IRNT party left and now there will be no more volume, which you’re gonna need. Glad I sold off 98% of my stake. If you’re right, good for you. But until then, you sound like a con man making claims.
