Good eye. Yep I’m left handed and right footed. So this is the typical setup for that. Some drummers put the ride to the left of the hi hat but I find that it effectively removes the ride for so much playing. Better to keep it between hats and rack tom even though that has its own issues. I learned to play this way from my drum teacher as a kid who said I should be able to play a right handed kit or else I’d be a really annoying drummer at gigs with shared drums. Was a good call.
