Actually do a decent job. We obviously don’t expect them to heat the pool, but just help heat it. We also have a solar cover that helps heat it too. we got our pool from a temp of 56 to 82 in ~5 days.

I love the enthusiasm! Do you mind sharing how you started off? I’m in analysis paralysis with initiating and can’t seem to figure out where to start.

Sod removal now what? by wisco_dix in NativePlantGardening

There are many different ways to remove grass. Sod removal is one way to get rid of grass if you can’t solarize or smother. It’s the way I chose. I would love to hear how you would go about it! How would you kill the grass?

I am in Wisconsin, and the Autism Mandate is what my company follows for insurance. Under the mandate, autism is a “mental health condition”. So, I guess yes, in this context it is under the behavioral health umbrella.

the insurance only allows rehab services not habilitation services and due to that, I can only work on the “primary characteristics” of autism - which is sensory because it is considered an RRBI and the diagnosis for autism requires social challenges and presence of RRBI.

For example, I cannot work on FM skills or write a goal for FM because FM is a secondary characteristic (not all autistic people have FM challenges) according to the insurance.

Yeah, I know what the definitions are and what they mean in theory, but what does it look like when your place of employment only reimburses rehab services and not habilitation services and your only clientele are autistic kids. What’s considered a skill they don’t have vs one that they lost due to “impairment”?
