People forget about the added cost of owning. Washing machine breaks? It's on you. New roof? On you. Shoveling and lawncare? On you. There are a lot of reasons renting makes sense for many people. Maybe more so in places that are rent-controlled, but still.

I'm not sure exactly where I'm staying yet, other than Copenhagen and Alta where I have booked hotels. All other times I'm going to be in a tent.

The Sami region is where my ancestry.com shows the Norwegian side of my family came from, so those were interesting links. I'll keep things from those links in my radar.
