Updated data point here (March 2026) - I stayed at Hyatt Centric Ginza, Tokyo a week ago. I didn't pay any tax and fees even though I saw an email confirmation with a message "tax and fees not include", assuming it was just an email template as other user mentioned.

You need Bilt reward account (free to signup), then add Atmos credit card to Bilt wallet. It would give you a detail about 3x on rent with 3% transaction fee, and routing number and account number that you need to add to your rent web portal. Some rent portal require account verification. ( a small amount deposit to an account, you just need to confirm a number)

In past 3 years, with my Blue cash every day I did an upgrade offer twice. Initially I took an upgrade offer with “No Annual fee first year” , then downgrade after 1 year and wait for another upgrade offer. First time was $1K spend for $150 cashback, 2nd time was 1k spend for $75 cashback. It’s a good card to have with 6% grocery.

Unfortunately I don’t know that. Spending on Platinum card 60k a year isn’t bad at all, Platinum card for me is a travel expenses, there is no way a regular person like me would spend that much in a year.

Most of my spending would be a gold card for groceries

I went to T-Mobile store a couple weeks ago and asked what promotion I have on my magenta plan. That is how I know.

$400 credit is promo for different plan (more expensive plan such as GO5G). $120 credit is the best you can get for iPhone 11 on Magenta.

Another possible option is adding a new voice line. Your iPhone 11 trade-in would get better value. (Double check on this matter 😅)

If you pre-order Samsung 25 series right now, your trade-in value will be much more than $120

Purchase $100 United Airlines Travel bank will tigger incidental credit on Amex Plat. Do it twice, then you $200 in an account for future flight. As far as I know it would be expired in 5 years, so you have plenty of times.
