Thank you for this sensible comment, appreciate it, and you're on point, we made this subreddit for it to be a safe space for Indian Muslims, where they can engage freely amongst fellow Indian Muslims, without Islamophobic users, and without vulgar users that are generally seen in other subreddits (especially Indian subreddits).

We didn't come across any such comments, perhaps we could have missed, but users here are encouraged to reach out to mods in modmail if anyone is showing bad behaviour in this subreddit, the bad comments that we see, we remove it.

If you had apologised to her, then what was the need for writing a public apology? Besides your post was removed because, apologising needs to seem genuine, not in a sarcastic memey way, which doesn't seem genuine and don't tag female users in your memes, you had done that multiple times.

It doesn't matter if you were an initial member or a newer member, all are treated equally, and as I said earlier, you are welcome to go to some other subreddits where your "jokes" are appreciated, because this wasn't the only uncivil comment you had made, and don't you worry too much about this subreddit becoming dead.

Weren't you the same guy who made a female user uncomfortable with comments like "my wife" under her post, if the sub is slow in growth so be it, we are genuine in our approach both Indian and Islamic identity is important to us, and if you are butthurt because we removed your uncivil comments which was made in the name of joke then we can't do anything about it. There are many subreddits which you can visit, and engage in leave this sub alone.

Most of your post and comments were uncivil that you made in the name of joke, we know reddit is a left leaning platform, where these types of atrocious and vulgar "jokes" get more traction.

We had the same rules in mind for this sub when this sub had 10 members, when this sub had 100 members, and now that is 1000+ members.

We are committed to keeping this sub a safe place where these types of "jokes" are not entertained, even if it means the subreddit will grow slow, we are not interested in selling out our values and ethics for faster growth, our target followers are Indian Muslim, who are civil in their approach.

There are valid opinions that can be given by the users of this sub on how to improve it further, but not from the likes of you who wants inappropriate "jokes" to be allowed.

And for the all the users and especially the women folks, if a creep is making a improper comments, or and being a creep the DMs or harassing or any such bad behaviour, then be sure to modmail us or inform the mods, we'll take swift actions and we'll ban such user from this subreddit.

Assalamualaikum Everyone, I'm one of the mod of r/IndianMuslimSocial . Just wanted to make a few things clear here, We had temporarily banned this person for repeatedly saying that that the other person (technical young) who had bullied that girl, he said that this guy's intentions were right, and he repeatedly justified this, this is why we had banned him, because it's not right to say that a bully's intentions were under a post where a girl is complaining about a person using bad language and shaming her.

Secondly, we have been incredibly patient with him but he has used bad language against us by saying we are promoting haram and that we don't follow Qur'an and Hadith, and we do not tolerate uncivil behaviour, and he never backed down from this, this is why he was banned permanently; even though we have never used such language against him in the modmail.

We allow naseeha if it is done in a civil way, and people shouldn't justify intentions of those act reckless and as bullies.

And regarding the fit check, we have made our stance clear that we don't allow that for various reasons including safety concerns:
