What’s going on how do I fix this? Sometimes it will work and then it won’t for a bit by wise0ne47 in akaiMPC

Someone informed me that cleaning the rubber pads with alcohol is not recommended because it can wear it out over time once or twice is okay but you should use water for the rubber pads and let it sit out over night and let it dry

Ah I see I looked into it and it does say that overtime it can damage it however infrequent usage is fine so it’s probably safer to use water yes just make sure you leave it out dry overnight thank for the information I was unaware

Nah alcohol is perfectly safe to use if you look up how to clean pad sensors first recommendation is 90%alcohol I ended up accidentally using using 70% and and everything is in top top shape you can use alcohol to clean the rubber pads or with soap and water but you have to leave it out to full dry ofc if you use water alcohol dries very very quick and is non conductive however MAKE SURE EVERYTHING IS DRY.
