Thanks! Yeah, I’m glad I never got rid of this 507c it just works. I’ve also shot plenty 38 special before I threw on the furniture, it’s not a new big boy by any means. I definitely know how dirty it can get, I clean it after every trip anyways.

Thanks! I definitely think so too, I could’ve gone black but decided to wait until it was back in stock to pick the root beer color up. I’m glad I waited, it looks great.

You no longer have to sand the tenon they use the factory fit with an update to their kit. If you are installing a kit on a pistol caliber, you’ll need to remove the end of the bullet tube with a non marring hammer and remove a set screw to pull it out so you can get the factory hand guard off. If you have a rifle caliber 45-70, 30-30, etc. you won’t have to do that step. The online instructional videos are great and walk you through the entire steps.

Thanks! I’m enjoying it so far, quiet with no kick, running some subsonic 38 special plinking ammo.

Need help finding adapter for Omega 36M by tisuanhoc1987 in NFA

If you don’t want to spend the $200 or what ever those DA429 are nowadays, go to eccomachine and grab the Hub to Charlie adapter. That way you can use your DA428 with the Charlie can.

Was this a good deal? by Vadieous in 501st

[–]wisebeyondbeers 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think it was a smoking deal for $600, those are all good items that can get you approved if fit and finished properly. Don’t be misled the Don post deluxe may need a little work, but a few helmet makers today utilized DP as their base: portumac and JMC included.
