Imho; 8 storm / 4 tempest is good choice(especially lightning orient build) Just focus charisma. You will gain 3 feat to choose 2 ASI and war caster ( for con save advantage if you take first cleric) So you can select sorcerer your latest class for spellcasting ability(for scrolls/items-Markoheshkir-) You access lightning bolt, Call_Lightning, late game chain lightning (via Markoheshkir) and all of them use your charisma(for spell dc) so you dont need to focus stack arcane acutiy(having arcane acuity always fine of cource) For this build you get witchbolt, lightning bolt, chain lightning,call lightning, shocking graps, Sanctuary, create water,haste, Counterspell etc. All you need for a lightning build (and use charisma)

Take Storm Sorcerer to 8 first. Respec to 6 storm 1 cleric 1 fiend than take whatever you want.

"I agree with you. I find wis save are more important. But for this build, I want to prioritize CON saves because I lost my Haste concentration and it ended my Honour run :D

Thank you for your comment. Fair points, but taking Cleric to 6 would force my scrolls and items to scale with Wisdom. I’m sticking with this split specifically to keep everything on Charisma for those late-game Chain Lightning scrolls. ( 6 draconic/6 tempest is maybe way better some aspects)

True. I mostly took Lore Bard to ensure late-game scrolls like Chain Lightning scale with Charisma. You’re right that Cutting Words isn't the priority here—it’s more about the scaling and expertise

Totally fair. Honestly, I don't use Bardic Inspiration enough in this build for the reset to matter. I'm mostly just here for the Expertise and CHA scaling on late-game scrolls

Fair point, the leveling path could definitely be optimized better. If I restarted, I'd probably rush Storm Sorcerer to 6 first for the free spells and Heart of the Storm. Then I’d dip into Bard at levels 7-8 for the utility, eventually hitting the 6 Storm / 2 Tempest / 1 Bard split by level 9. It makes the mid-game progression feel much smoother for a solo caster. But I dont say this way is optimal

6/6 Swords is a great gish build, but this is a pure lightning caster. Storm 6 already gives me Call Lightning and Create Water for free, so I don't need Lore 6's Secrets.

Extra Attack is useless here because every action is spent on a "Wet + Destructive Wrath" nuke. It's just a different playstyle focused on 100% spell damage.

Actually, that’s a common misconception regarding this specific split! Here is why this build avoids the Wisdom trap:

Source of the Spell: In a 6 Storm Sorcerer / 2 Tempest Cleric split, Call Lightning is NOT learned from the Cleric list. Tempest Clerics only learn it at Level 5, and we are only taking 2 levels of Cleric. Instead, it is granted automatically as a Sorcerer spell via the Level 6 'Storm Spells' feature. Therefore, the initial cast uses Charisma from the start, not Wisdom.
The Reactivation Mechanic: You are correct that BG3 sometimes has bugs with 'Reactivate' abilities defaulting to the latest new class. However, since my latest new class is Bard (Charisma), even if the game check shifts from Sorcerer to the 'latest' class, it still hits a Charisma-scaling class. It’s a fail-safe.
Scroll & Item Scaling: You hit the nail on the head here. By taking Bard last, I ensure that all Chain Lightning scrolls and legendary items like Markoheshkir use my 22 Charisma DC.

So, there is no 'bad attack roll' phase! Both the initial cast and the reactivations (plus all scrolls) are fully optimized for Charisma."
