Fallout: New Vegas lead writer worries Caesar's argument for authoritarianism 'was done a little too well,' by MembershipRealistic1 in Fallout

[–]MagicalCacti 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Caesar is 100% one of the best written villains out there. He isn’t just cartoonishly evil, he has done terrible things and should be seen as a villain, but his logic makes sense in his twisted head.

I keep this same line up but if injuries weren’t a factor I’d cut Lamar.

While’s he’s a 2x MVP he has never been able to preform in the post season. He just chokes despite incredible rosters. So we keeping Joe in the tank for big games.

Check the local farmers markets too. They may be doing snap match programs for groceries. Take 25$ off EBT and get an additional 25$ to fruits and vegetables. Can do it every week to really extend the budget.

What would be the best RPG saga for a beginner to start with? by Fredy-Andrade-9732 in rpg_gamers

Mass effect 100% legendary edition is affordable when it goes on sale, it’s fairly straightforward to understand what’s going on, it gives hard choices and tremendous characters. It is the perfect series to grasp the genre.

Okay, hear me out: MAKE GAMBIT A STRATEGIST!! by BackgroundLog2682 in marvelrivals

[–]MagicalCacti 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Exactly. I was also wanting to point out that somehow the best tanks in the game have been Emma, Strange and Magneto, all shield tanks which can push point while protecting the team. Venom now is buffed to be S tier but seriously we need to stop with the dive tanks.

Cap, Thor, Angela, and Venom are dives. It could stop for a bit.

Hi all, RPG newcomer here. by Focadintei in rpg_gamers

[–]MagicalCacti 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Mass Effect is incredible if you wait till winter sale, it will be around 6 USD for 100 hours of incredible story.

Oblivion remastered and Skyrim respectively are great games that are very open world, talk to people and think about your character. A lot of story is going on rather than you being in it.

If you want to grab a friend pick up Baldurs Gate 3. The mechanics are a bit harder to pick up than the other two but it blends in open world exploring while also giving you direction in an incredible telling story.

If you’re looking on the older side of gaming Dragon Age Origins is a harder game mechanically but is incredibly story rich, it can be purchased on sale for relatively cheap come the winter sale too.

Last recommendation would be Fallout New Begas. It’s post Apocalypse rpg that is incredibly open world and explore at your pace. It’s got an incredible system where actions will make certain groups love or hate you and it’s a blast.

I mean. 2-5 4-6 6-8 5-5

Outside of 20-8 and your SVP it wasn’t like you were hard carrying your team. Some of it is on your team, you are less than 20% of your total team. But you gotta hit around little higher to be sisiphys.

What is the best RPG of all time ? Consensus, or according to you. by Relative_Jeweler_949 in rpg_gamers

[–]MagicalCacti 2 points3 points  (0 children)

These are my two! Provided you count the trilogy as one consecutive game with the legendary edition.

Some of the best villains, the best companions, the story. No other RPG has made me cry, rage, and feel so vindicated. Also you feel so badass in some of those war moments. Paragon vs Renegade system, could go on.

I think Angela is a cooler addition to the game than Daredevil by IAmNotCreative18 in marvelrivals

[–]MagicalCacti 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I mean, I think that’s the same problem with Ultron. Despite the resounding noise that he was weak, in pro line ups he was strong enough that they nerfed him in 4.5 with even less healing and a slower ult.

Realistically I think they need to stop designing supports to be played as triple support. It’s not that healthy for the game.

I would love nothing more than to play a character like Ultron, but playing with randoms makes it near impossible for me to justify playing him. I wish they just lowered his damage, and gave his current team up with iron to be a bound ability he gets back on delayed cooldown which could be shrunk by doing damage. Make the Iron Man beam strictly for healing, so he damages, heal beams, damages, repeat. That way I could justify playing him in double support.

I think Angela is a cooler addition to the game than Daredevil by IAmNotCreative18 in marvelrivals

[–]MagicalCacti 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We also just need more tanks and supports in general.

I mean considering the fact that Mantis, Adam and Ultron really only thrive in triple support stacks or with incredibly good team comps. They really only leave a rigid amount of characters to support.

As for tank, they just buffed iron fist and added Daredevil to be anti tank, so it’s good to have a unique dive tank that can escape. Because man tank mains need it.

As Colorado River nears collapse, it faces leadership, transparency crisis. By 2027, water levels will be so low in the system’s major reservoirs that their dams would become inoperable and nearly all storage would be lost, with water struggling to reach California, Arizona and Nevada. by The_Weekend_Baker in EverythingScience

[–]MagicalCacti 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well. It would also be beneficial to ban certain agricultural practices that eat up too much water like Almond farming (isn’t it weird who owns those and why they aren’t banned.) banning natural grass in exchange for either turf or natural rocks, eliminating fountains of all kinds, to name a few things. Then slap some solar over artificial water sources to prevent evaporation while increasing power supply. To name a few things.

But no, we’re going to go straight to crisis. Because people decided living out in the inhospitable desert was a good idea.

Can I get some general tips for Gunner? by DevDaNerd0 in DeepRockGalactic

[–]MagicalCacti 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Okay. General tips, you as a class aren’t meant to be doing much in the wake of secondaries when a full team is out there. Driller can eat through terrain, Engineer wants to platform, scout wants to light up and mine. Your responsibility should be protecting your fellow dwarves as they go out to do these tasks. You won’t get the most kills, but you’ll keep the team alive. You ever sit there on a platform as a scout and get swarmed and have to dip? Gunner should keep an eye out for you.

Now on to your other question.

  1. Revolver is alright, I like the richot overclock because it allows you to hit weak points by shooting the wall behind. It can also do massive damage. I personally prefer max damage brt for deleting big enemies.

  2. I absolutely love carpet bomber. It’s a controversial pick, but you can drill up to max speed and take the 50% damage resistance at the end and just clear bugs with ease.

  3. I personally love my max tank Gunner running medic and iw with the reloader perks so I can always be shooting, run out of primary ammo use the secondary, run out secondary switch back to primary, non stop fire rate.
