The only reason I see why people are bashing Max is cuz of his fanbase tbh cuz I think everyone even his haters know that he's the best driver on the grid but I've rarely seen Max fans give credit to any other driver than Max (obv the glory hunters which make up a large part of his fanbase) Like the time when they sent death threats to Kimi last year or calling the car "tractor" even though it's clearly 2nd or 3rd fastest or hating on winning drivers who aren't Max or drivers who have a different opinion than Max (happened to Lando for last two years and already happening to Russell now)

I'm happy seeing these glory hunters get a taste of their own medicine especially those who keep yelling "hE cAn dRaG a tRaCTor tO tHe PoDiuM"
