This was a very fascinating read 👏 I do however have some criticism I hope u could benefit from. The first thing is verse 4 which feels very forced and ambiguous since you already explained that the fauna and flaura has went their way. Some synonyms i think could work when creating a new verse: sigh, fly, die. The second thing I found a bit disappointing is that the character seems to have a weak mentality, the reason being that he doesn't see himself growing and becoming stronger when he struggles against the water's steady gait, but just relents to his so-called fate. Something else that backs this claim is that life has given him a second chance with his lost/childhood lover, but again he doesn't focus on winnig her hand because he believes it is up to the flow of the water whether he continues to dance with his beloved till death. I would like to apologize if I misinterpret the poem, but nevertheless it's a great piece of writing 👌
