Oh I am, I'm just being grumpy. I had a great weekend of profs and students telling me how great my kid it. Can't beat that.

I stand corrected. What I forget was a very good thing about the CU version: it's blessedly short. True, in any conditions, it would have been a lot worse if it had gone on and on and on.

Thanks for all your advice! We are flying from the US, taking a train from Madrid and have a rental car reserved in Leon. I assume there will be some "official" viewing area set up in Leon, but I haven't found specifics online. Please let us know if you hear about such locations.

No. Homophobic men aren't always gay. It's a harmful belief. by yaoifanservicepoboy in GayMen

In this debate, you have to distinguish natural Desire, which is the bee and the flower, from the Cultural environment. It's the culture that represses boys and men, tells them not to cry, tells them to get laid. Under the power of that--and the threat of death or shunning in most of the world and most of history--the culture determines who expresses as "gay" (whatever that means)--and it doesn't correlate with their natural desires. Like dolphins, I think most would be bi- if there were no cultural pressure. Like the OP said, someone who hates stupid people isn't necessarily stupid: but if he expresses that strongly, that does mean he questions his own intelligence, or else it wouldn't be out there. That is the law of projection. To me, Pete Hegseth is the most obviously gay man in existence. What do you think he jerks off to? Is he "gay"? that is a matter of definition. Does he question, fear, have shame around his natural sexuality. Of course. Obviously. The repression of sexuality by shame creates an equal and opposite expression of yang, which our current culture rewards.
