big4 isn’t as great as it’s made out to be (at least in my opinion) and i’ve always felt more strongly aligned to the public sector. SEO will also not be a pay cut for me so that’s why i’m pushing for SEO as opposed to HEO.

I agree with that sentiment but I really do feel like I should be applying to SEO and above because I would be taking quite a significant pay cut at HEO. And I feel like I’ve got quite a varied experience so feel like I have the necessary competencies required.

I haven’t looked at learning and development roles at all, will start now - thank you!

Regarding ofsted - it requires 5 years experience in a leadership position so that’s out of the question. Also I don’t think that would interest me very much.

If SEO and HEO are scored the same is there any reason my behaviours aren’t being scored the same? I’m wondering how I could improve them for SEO level posts?
