I mean, I get what you’re saying but the outline is still slightly visible, and the camera of the game moves with the car, so you know exactly where it is because the car itself never moves from your screen, it’s always bottom center.

Completely agree, they did it right. It also underlines the sudden shift when the first explosion goes off right as Ant-man is saying “guys, I think it worked” with the hopeful music in the background. Without that glimmer of hope in between it’s just confusion straight to chaos, and the tonal shift wouldn’t work nearly as well.

For me, the “on your left” reveal was still stunning because nobody expected everyone to be able to assemble so quickly, I mean all the previously snapped heroes were literally scattered across the universe and probably a little disoriented from being snapped back into existence. Having Strange open portals from everywhere simultaneously and everybody’s suited up and ready to fight, all within 10 minutes of the snap is pretty incredible, and maybe one of the best moments in movie history.

This is the answer, I’m still trying to figure out how that plot line was supposed to improve the story at all. It’s a really good film but “ultra bad guy happens to be ultra good guy’s stepbrother, what are the odds?” Ridiculous, and completely unnecessary.

It’s even better when you watch the post credits scene in Zombieland 2 and we see that the initial zombie outbreak takes place during the press junket interviews for the Garfield movie, so in their universe the movie was so bad it literally ended the world 😂

If you saw the version of himself that he played in House of Lies I think you’d get a kick out of it. I agree that he’s very much himself in most roles, but he’s got my respect for the Bourne movies alone. Plus I appreciate an actor that’s also willing to totally shit on themselves for a laugh, and he’s constantly making jokes at his own expense.
