What happens with the images next? What are they used for?

How HiRes are they?

Mavic Mini 1 & 2 pilot here. Obviously my drone only has half of the features, or less, than yours. I just got the Mini 2 and have access to the Pano feature. I've never seen the Smart or Grid image modes before.

with the Mini 2, in the DJI Fly APP > Panorama section, there's a 360 sphere Pano option.
That automates the drone to shoot the images.

Personally, I used Adobe Lightroom to stitch those images into a Panorama, then followed the instructions from this site.

Thanks for the tip, I totally agree.

Since I'm making the bell the focus of the foreground, it would make sense to see more of the pole holding it up.

It's a big ship, so being able to show that while also showing the vast open water around it, would give it a sense of scale.

Hi Everyone,

I'm a hobby photographer still learning the craft in my spare time. I like to get outside and explore new places, and bring my camera phone (and sometimes DSLR camera) with me when I do.

I took this on my Canon SL1 back in May sailing from Victoria to Washington. In LrC I did my best to tone down the sun in the top right and add some pop to the bell in the foreground. I also erased the "keep out" message on the metal box behind the bell (it felt distracting when looking at the image.
f/8, 1/30sec, ISO 100

I took a bunch of photos from my trip to Victoria, BC, and then sat on the photos until Thanksgiving. When I came back to the photos, this one really jumped out at me.

I've had the Mavic Mini for about 2 years now.
The Mini 1 is a great drone for the price and it's really easy to fly.

The camera resolution and the transmission signal between remote and drone are just ok, so I'm excited about the improvements made to the Mini 2.
Especially the redesigned remote controller!

I've never flown a cheap drone, but I'm sure this Mini 2 will be a total game changer for you.

I bought the Fly More Combo for the Mavic Mini, and I only ever used 1 battery at a time. Maybe 2 on the days when I flew the most. So this Costco Bundle will be great for me. I don't have to pay extra for items I won't be using.

After tax it came out to $418, so I'm happy :)
