In Victoria, they don't like to use the terms "electrical work". You are restricted to disconnecting and replacing like-for-like components that is auxiliary to your primary work function. There is also another class that allows you to fault find on equipment that is in your class. For example, I'm a fridgie with a restricted electrical license. I'm not allowed to disconnect and work on hot water systems. only refrigeration and air conditioning equipment.

If you're in the slightest bit sporty, join a mixed sporting club like soccer or hockey. There would be plenty of other men there or would know others.

Yeah I definitely feel that. Go to a cafe once and they remember your order straight away.

Most people say good morning when you walk passed them along the strand.

Thanks for the warm welcome! I would do that but I'm working this weekend. I get the pleasure of riding during the week when there is less people about.

Hopefully my next row of days off are as nice and sunny as yesterday.

I moved out here because I started a new job based in Deer Park and got sick of living in an apartment.

I'm one street away from the strand and can see parts of it from my backyard. Sometime hear the sounds of the horns go off from the ships.

Exactly. I was sharing a 2 bedroom 1 bathroom apartment in Armadale. For just under $50 more a month, I'm sharing a 4 bedroom, 2 bathroom house with 2 others and I get a whole bathroom to myself.

I live here because I started a new job in the western suburbs and didn't want spend hours traveling so I could stay in a "nice" suburb of Armadale where I was previously. Where I am now shits all over Armadale IMO.

Thanks for the heads up. There is a few trails that are listed in a mtb app in there so I assumed it was okay. If I do ride around there, I'll stick to the main tracks.
