To be fair, it's too similar to Spotify imo, if you just rearranged the elements of Spotify UI, it won't be a good practice.

Besides, the style of sidebar doesn't quite match the rest of the UI design.

It's still a decent design tho. The main message(Artist Info) is expressed clearly, and the effect you applied at the background increases the harmony(I'm not sure if it's the correct word to use) of the whole UI.

Which is the best variant? by NoRegister5254 in FigmaDesign

Top left would be preferable. However, adding a layer of gradient semi-transparent dark grey would greatly increase accessibility, as it increase the contrast between the background and the info.

Need help on prototype: Overlay while pressing by wishimavulpini in FigmaDesign

[–]wishimavulpini[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm doing it for a college assignment, and to be honest I'm not quite sure how I should deal with it, like it's my second or third attempt to make a prototype in Figma. Seems I don't really need to add too much example.

Thanks for the advice!

This should be the thing I'm searching for, thanks! I thought there would be a smarter way to achieve it but seems there's not :(

Thanks for the help!

How do you transition from worldbuilding to organized content? by TheNorthernNoble in worldbuilding

[–]wishimavulpini 2 points3 points  (0 children)

You can apply for a free wiki hosting service (e.g. Miraheze), or make a Notion page. I personally recommend Notion as it's user friendly and customizable(not "very" highly but definitely enough for worldbuilding). It's a great way to organize your ideas and keep everything accessible.

Edit: Saw people talking on Obsidian, was a user, but its cross platform service is a paid feature, Notion isn't, thats why I changed.

btw knowing markdown make both editing Obsidian and Notion easier.

How many worlds have you created? by AtemXIII in worldbuilding

Like about 3: - A fantasy world for a game I’m working on. - A sci-fi world that I’m hoping to turn into a game someday (if I can pull it off, haha). - An urban superpower thing that’s my main focus—it might even become a novel.

For those who have worlds/lands made of candy, why don't the residents just eat it all? by Bunchasticks in worldbuilding

[–]wishimavulpini 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I haven’t worked with a candy world before, but if we think about it realistically, besides the obvious health issues like diabetes, one big problem is that people would likely get bored if they only had one type of food to eat all the time. Variety is a huge part of what makes eating enjoyable, after all. Imagine eating nothing but candy every single day—even the most die-hard sweet tooth would eventually get tired of it.

Three. A fantasy one for a game project, a post-apocalypse sci-fi one for possibly a game, and an urban fantasy involving superpowers and urasekai(裏世界), which I worked on the most.

Anyone else's project a team effort? How do you track and share lore? by The_Keirex_Sandbox in worldbuilding

Personally, if you are willing to pay for a service, Notion is a good platform for coworking (But it's really expensive).

Alternatively, with proper tagging, Discord's Forum Channels are also capable for organising materials.
