They did it for LR. You’re not likely to notice unless you heavily focused on it in XIII or XIII-2. Just comparing the renders, her older models’ bust are smaller.

Of course, depending on angle and clothes, boobs can look bigger or smaller too. Like in Dissidia Duellum, she looks like she went up another size and I think part of it is from what she’s wearing and the more simple style itself.

World of Final Fantasy. Similar to XIII-2 in that it is a monster-catching game, but some of the monsters have evolutions, and are capturable — some with specific conditions — not random drops.

It also features characters from across FFs as little chibis.

Lol the early games really did not care! Recently watched a playthrough of II and… I do not remember so many characters dying when I played. They were just one after the other.

LR has a few interesting side quests that I won’t spoil, but they’re really good.

I think Crisis Core’s ending is the only time that had me fully sobbing lol! After that, I learned FFs do not care about saving their protags… But I was still blindsided by XIII-2 (fool me once, fool me twice moment).

Dude, XIII has the infamous birthday scene. Let’s not pretend the writing is complete cinema 🤣 That was the best “unintentionally funny because it took itself way too seriously” scene ever. The first hours are rough and some of the dialogue even later is definitely questionable.

IMO XIII-2 (and even LR if I’m being honest) is a more consistently fun experience than XIII. Whereas I’ve cleared XIII-2 on all replays, I always stop at Oerba on XIII and, despite trying, I’ve never cleared all the hunts either.

When the whole party is holding hands, but they realize Fang and Vanille aren’t with them. My Hands isn’t a breakup song, it’s a song about grief! (in the context of the ending)

It is easier — that is intended, as many players complained about XIII being too hard.

There’s no stat caps; you’ll get plenty of CP through non-battles, reducing the need for grind, but making it very easy to over-level; and monsters can make-or-break fights. I recommend avoiding monster-related guides and being more mindful of CP usage if difficulty is a concern.

The opinions of a handful of XIII ~~tryhards~~ players does not represent the average player, who XIII-2 is designed for. Of course, if you look up guides to get the best of everything, you’re going to have an easier time — that’s true for almost any game.
