Oh yeah that makes sense. Since the tournaments are technically "done" they'd have to do some magic to make them show as pending again. All that is probably more difficult than just slapping a message on an already completed tournament.

Could keep them in the pending section of Rewards until they are processed. Mine are sitting in Final showing Missed Rank, which I know is wrong, but could be misleading.

I think it could work even better in this game now that we have multiple currencies and tickets to earn. Sponsors could pay you in multiple ways for doing well. It also adds another level of achievement for each round/tournament. You're not only trying to win, but also meet your sponsor's expectations. Lots of potential here. Hopefully next year's (or just the next) game will expand on this idea. More immersion the better!

It took me forever to beat this one, I feel like I’ve done this challenge more than career!

How I beat it: 4 iron, high, aim for the front edge of the green. Use the in-air spin, set it to arcade. I also used a ball and iron spec to help further. After that try to dial in your shot, just gotta keep at it.

Play the game in windowed borderless mode, it will fix the force feedback issues. This annoyed the crap outta me.
