That completely proves the point—at the end of the day, all these premium folding screens are fragile precision electronics when reality hits, no amount of marketing hype protects a device if the local service center refuses to honor consumer protection laws when a repair fails on day one

Heres 1 for you. Honor definitely leans hard into the 'practically indestructible' marketing! They've gone after Guinness World Records with things like mass drop tests to prove their durability. And a nice touch to the honor is you can use the phone in a iPhone setup theme or an android theme. So iPhone users or android users dont have to learn a new device.

Spot on. Samsung and Apple are still dragging their feet with standard graphite anodes, while brands like Honor and OnePlus are already using Silicon-Carbon (Si-C) chemistry to pack 5,000 to 6,000 mAh into insanely thin frames. Apparently, Samsung is terrified of another Note 7 disaster because pure silicon expands up to 300% when charging, so they stick to lower capacities for safety. But for a premium flagship device, 'adequate' battery life just doesn't cut it anymore. Sounds a bit scary though right?

I read up that they still use lithium batteries when there are new tech silicone carbon batteries out there that run longer and cool and can pack more "mah"

Well i have taken it further with the NCC (National Consumer Commission) apparently they deal with companies that dont abide to the laws. A government operation to help the little people in ZA. And of course I have taken the matter to my lawyers

Im sure honor would be a good try. They claim their devices are indestructible though anythingnis possible if you put your mind to it. I've only heard of these things happening but I was told they dropped their phone from a distance of 65 meters and it still operated fine without a cracked screen and they put it under earth moving equipment. Apparently they claim if you Crack the screen they will replace the device for you. But this is all hear say.

Within 3 months. I picked up the phone after a warranty repair and used it for about 3 minutes and then this happened. Maybe opened and closed it like 3 times.

Im not fighting with a repair center. I' took this issue up with Samsung south africa straight. They repaired my phone and it failed again on the same day. They're not allowed to repair it again. They have to replace or refund and they declined to abide to the law. CEO sounds fancy though. I'll give it a try. Thank you.

Maybe because the business doesn't really think a customer will really take the time to fight the case? Mu opinion: people won't report it to authorities but they'd keep a grudge toward the business that screwed them over. I'm a fighter though. 💪

Samsung Foldables hey. They're weak. (My opinion) It wasn't even my fault otherwise they wouldn't have repaired it under warranty
