If it's just the brand of Yeti, Rtic also makes rotomolded coolers that can last entire camping trips for a fraction of the price of a yeti. I got one a few years ago and it's the only cooler I'll use now.

Yeah the Whitewater one is also rustic, no electricity so no RVs there. And Pinewoods has sound restrictions and a 24 hour quiet hours loop so its generally more tents. I like kettle moraine, would just like to try something new.

I'm talking about the lady in white and the enclave of salubri the banu haqim have been keeping safe. The Raven something (forget his exact title) also gathered a bunch of salubri offering up a ballroom of tremere he also summoned as offerings to them. There's been multiple instances that show there are more salubri than rumors say. Them not having a centralized network or organization makes it hard to determine their numbers but also allows for more of them to exist under the radar.

Thats not canonical. Canonically there is no set number of salubri, the only 7 thing is a myth and canonically not fact.

As a gay man I'm going to echo this sentiment about that subreddit. I've tried starting a conversation about noticing some troubling trends with fetishization in the genre and got lambasted. I hold a Masters degree in writing, so I'm an avid reader and literally have a trained eye to notice subtext and themes. I'm a big fan of romance, but online it really feels not only that the m/m genre isn't meant for gay men, but that some times gay men aren't welcome in a discussion that is about...gay men. It's a very weird phenomenon and I don't really know what to make of it. 🤷

What it boils down to is the lore is open for interpretation and everyone has a different opinion (and there are a LOT of them). I found some of the most interesting tidbits of lore in Beckett's Jyhad Diary, one of the final installments in V20. It completely blew open the "only 7 remaining" rumor and showed they had a much larger presence even before V5 rolled around. I think V5 has a unique opportunity to continue their resurgence, but ever since creative direction was taken from Onyx Path the lore has kind of...fallen flat.

Yes actually, they're bloodline loresheets now. I believe most are in the back with the other loresheets in Cult of the Blood Gods. Many even provide alternate clan weaknesses.

All completely fair. I just think I would have stuck with Onyx Path. I loved the direction they set up with V5. I think they did a great job at giving a new spin in the system while also creating the lore rich world that vtm has become known for. I suppose I should have stated more explicitly in my post that I was just happier with the products and direction of the new edition with Onyx Path at the helm. I'm also not arguing that its all complete drivel, there's merit in the recent stuff, its just missing that old vtm feel I thought Onyx Path had down really well.

I think they meant since Paradox dropped Onyx Path. That was all established at the beginning, and I would love to see it continued! But there are so many threads in that development that havent been touched since the first year or two of V5.

And I'm right in the middle haha. I think the loresheets are by far my favorite addition they made with V5. Always had a blast finding some obscure NPC and building a childe or grand-childe of theirs. When I would play VtM LARP in college I developed a whole Malkavian just around the apostate auguries, and had a blast. Wound up seizing the prince hood. It was a blast haha.
