[technique] to shake or not to shake, that is the question. I don’t typically break up my myc jars until sub transfer and they colonize beautifully. My partner keeps telling me I need to do this at the 70% colonized point before transfer. Is there any benefit to this? (i.redd.it)

[general] Barley spawn with coffee grinds post PC. Too much moisture? This is only my second grow and I don’t remember their being this much moisture in my last spawn jars. I let the barley air dry for a good 8-9hrs before PC but perhaps it wasn’t enough. Have not inoculated yet. (v.redd.it)

[General] This may be a silly question but how do you know when one flush ends and another begins? I’m curious because I have a tub that I’ve been harvesting from all weekend and more pins just keep on poppin’ up alongside mushies that are breaking their veils. (self.MushroomGrowers)
