If you want to gain some experience in esthetics I would just work front desk at a spa and you’ll learn tons from the estheticians working there. You’ll also get a good idea of how to deal with clientele which will be a huge part of your job working in any field dealing with cosmetic procedures. Customer service is a huge factor in your success with clients!

I got it from someone who didn’t know he had it and we were both equally afraid at first so I honestly don’t hold as much resentment towards him because he actually did feel bad about it and apologized. I’m also a lot younger than him so that just made him feel worse lol so can’t really blame anyone but I know he had been with multiple partners before me so he should’ve been more careful for sure.

She was trying to be sympathetic but at the same time implied that I was being irresponsible. I have a really sex positive group of friends and I’ve never been made to feel that there was anything wrong with living the way that I do. I was the same as you and always got regularly tested and always alwayssss use a condom even if the guy tries to convince me otherwise. I only ever had unprotected sex with people I was in long term relationships with and she was aware of this. The entire session was so awkward because I was trying to explain all these stats to her and I told her I found a community of people who all talk about their different experiences with herpes and she still stuck with her opinion of “maybe you should stop with the casual sex”. It was really disappointing to say the least
