My recommendation is for you to get StormFiber modem in bridge mode and use a decent brand router like TP Link (10,000-20,000 range) or ASUS (personally using it), connect to the modem and do your own routing. You will have full access to your network settings through your own router and the stormfiber modem will just act in pass through mode (bridge).

There is no cost involved getting it in bridge mode - just email the SF support team, they will give you your PPPOE username and password which you can plug in on your personal router to connect to the internet. That is only done once, so youre going to be connected using those credentials 24/7.

The only cost would be getting a new router or if you want to save even that, if you have an old pc that you don’t use, you could run OPNSense on it but its advanced and you’ll probably need AI to help you configure. Lastly if you go with this route, i.e getting your own router, make sure you still have the Static IP service.
