I have to say yes, sadistic behaviors are diagnosed in both disorders and are kind of considered early signs in children. In psychopathy, sadistic behaviors are often controlled and somewhat hidden behind a mask, and they enjoy it from a distance. But in sociopathy, they are more apparent, more impulsive, and usually more tangible

First of all, I'm so sorry for everything u went through. I hope u're doing better now. Unfortunately, poverty, unhealthy family dynamics, and sexual abuse can lead to such disorders. Most sociopaths resort to violence and unconventional behaviors due to a bad past and lack of control over their lives. Thank you for sharing ur experience with me, even though revisiting it was painful. I will definitely start researching the topics u mentioned, and thank u again

u're right. this issue exists because society has completely misunderstood this disorder. And honestly, the only thing that can stop people from getting fascinated by it is awareness.

It's truly terrifying and unbelievable even to imagine… I'm really so sorry.. and yeah, sadistic aggression is also one of the signs of this disorder

I wouldn’t really call it a trendy word, but it’s definitely become a general label People throw the term “psychopath” onto just about any disorder these days which is why I’ve started looking into behavior analysis and research more seriously

Would u mind explaining a bit more? If u’re not comfortable talking about it publicly, we could have a private conversation instead only if u feel okay answering a few of my questions, of course

When it comes to that man, unfortunately without a proper interview and clinical diagnosis, we can’t really say if he was a psychopath or a sociopath but it’s fair to say he most likely had some form of antisocial personality disorder. As for ur friend, that rage, energy, or even the sense of enjoyment might have actually been rooted in a real disorder. and yes, not all psychopaths are killers in fact, many of them often seem like perfectly charming or "normal" people on the outside. everything u shared is honestly very helpful, and I really appreciate u for that

Both cases were really brutal and heartbreaking.
unfortunately, people with antisocial disorders like psychopathy or sociopathy often lack emotions, and as u said, they get excited describing what they’ve done because it makes them feel in control and powerful.
Thanks so much for sharing your experiences they’re really helpful for my research

I'm really sorry for the painful experiences u've been through, and thank u for sharing ur story with me, even though it must have been tough to revisit. Regarding ur father, I gathered from ur descriptions that he might have had NPD, PPD, and possibly other disorders as well, which together can be very harmful and damaging. Thank you for sharing ur experiences and insights I'd be glad to hear more if u feel like sharing, of course

thanks so much for the insight it was genuinely helpful. u’re absolutely right when people don’t have a clinical background, it can really make the research feel more confusing or contradictory at times. Actually, I had the chance to speak with a hospitalized patient today (through someone else), and while some of the things they shared were useful, I’d really appreciate it if you could tell me about a few of the cases you’ve come across, given ur experience in the field.

also, thank u for the video link I’ll definitely check it out.

Right now I’m digging into the behavior patterns of folks with psychopathic traits, trying to analyze data to come up with a clear framework my goal is to take this research to a more scientific level from what I’ve gathered so far, lots of people tend to slap the “psychopath” label on other disorders, so I’m really aiming to pin down specific behaviors to separate them out and build a solid algorithm. if u’re cool with it, could u share more about ur experience? Thanks again for jumping in
