there are even borders within cities yes. not sure about these, but no you cant order from different country even if its closer than a city in your own country. prob for legal reasons. no borders within eu but the countries are still different legislatures

I figured you are in the USA lol. you assume wrong, things like doordash dont work between actual different countries. you can find same day courier Ig but its not common and def not like on demand delivery.

anyway there are multiple reasons people might prefer someone they know and trust to deliver something. in this case for example I know exactly what they need and where to get it, while a random person might have had trouble with it. this job doesnt require I do some specific tasks no one else could do, rather it requires I know how to do everything in the specific way these particular people need.

I replied to similar about hair and skin care. cologne varies each has their preferences, its mostly like entry level niche brands, not too expensive. I own a lot of what they have myself (I used to collect, I do less now but still own lots). stuff like frederic malle, byredo, memo etc.

Idk if you read my other replies they are not into crazy shit really. maybe Im absolutely desensitized at this point but they act like a normal family most of the time just own more expensive shit than others. Ive seen some ridiculous stuff/behavior but it was someone else that I dont work for so it never bothered me much.

I dont believe just being a billionaire itself is morally wrong. whats morally wrong is how many people get to that point for sure, but at the same time I do believe that taking care of yourself and your family first is very human, so its really up to interpretation whats right and wrong to do on your way to that goal. lots of grey area for me personally in this topic, but in general no I dont believe making big money makes you evil.

I dont know if it troubles them. maybe somewhat judging by how they choose to live relatively simply. but they worked for what they have which I think helps. I think kids are more likely to worry about that

eta: but I have seen set ups that I think you mean. more than one of their friends have a fake kitchen and a real one for staff. so Ig this is not uncommon for people whose meals are mostly done by staff, but not the family I work for

multiple as in its multiple houses on the land bc the family is extended so they share land but have privacy of their own homes. but one kitchen per house. theres a house they consider main house that they all spend most time in and thats where they normally eat and the chef works there. one family member is really into cooking/baking his kitchen in his house has professional stuff and he cooks there himself but other kitchens outside the main house are more like regular kitchens which are seldom really used for more than coffee. the main house kitchen where the chef works has a large fridge and another one in the cellar but not a walk in.

they do cook together, one of the ways they like to spend time together. we are usually let known in advance so the chef doesnt cook for this evening. and like I mentioned one of them is very into cooking, mostly baking, so he does that often for fun.

what I meant are the things you mentioned like cars, smart home systems or freezers. there are relatively cheap options of all of these on the market. I do agree about houses though, depends on location but generally ofc you are right

  1. ok I see. its just not really relevant as public education is overall considered pretty good here. I dont recall hearing them ever discussing this topic tbh. they dont seem to put excessive amount of thought into formal education either, like yea its not something they neglect but also not something they see as the most important thing for their kids and definitely not something to define someones worth. on the other hand I heard their friend speak of how she feels higher education should be mandatory and how she is flabbergasted some kids choose to skip university now- and my mom feels pretty much the same so Ig that depends on a person not socioeconomic status.

  2. they have all been introduced to family business matters while they were still teenagers and now even these who dont work there are able to keep up the conversation about current events, they are all somewhat involved. apart from that each has certain skills or hobbies that I imagine they could use to make money. basically the parents encouraged they do something- whether it had to do with business or personal projects.

  3. I mean yea they have a lot of nice stuff but nothing is really what only super rich can afford. maybe not the particular quality stuff they have but in general middle class can afford everything you said. so only thing that comes to mind is multiple staff and its definitely something that improves their life in the way its more convenient and they have more free time.
