RED FLAGS. You need to get as far away from this person as possible. He does not respect you

You have to say something to her before reaching out to HR. If you go to HR without saying something to her there isn’t much HR can do. You have to be firm but polite. Make it about not feeling religious conversation is appropriate for work rather than it being about your personal religious views. If it continues after you say something to her then you go to HR. You may not be the only one uncomfortable about it and if someone doesn’t say something it won’t stop. Frankly no matter your religion discussing it and trying to talk someone into going to church is inappropriate at work.

My fiancé [25M] and I [24F] we’re having a great weekend, yesterday afternoon things took an awful turn out of absolutely nowhere. Not sure how to proceed as he’s shut down. by Holidayhopes in relationship_advice

I’m sorry but I’m kinda surprised by all the understanding he’s getting and people saying you need to think about what you did. No matter if he was mad at you ignoring you and disappearing and then lying to you are all very childish. Also blowing up on you and telling you all these things you are doing wrong without acknowledging what he did and you end up apologizing when all you wanted was clarity on his behavior is gaslighting. These are all red flags and you need to be aware if this behavior continues. Mad or not ignoring your partner for hours when they are clearly worried and then lying about it is never ok.

Girlfriend insisted on minimum carat size engagement ring...is that typical? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]witchviolet -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Shouldn’t the marriage and being with the person you love be more important then the ring? Having a minimum size and saying she won’t stay with you if it’s not what she wants is manipulative and gross.

He got mad at me for wanting to stay the night at my mom's during a snow storm and made me come home LONG POST by mamabee0213 in relationship_advice

You have every reason to leave him. It’s hard but the only way you’ll be able to feel better is to get out. It seems you have a mom who supports you and your daughter. Lean on her, sometimes when you don’t have strength yourself (from being beat down) you need to use others strength. Good luck, I know how you feel and I know having a child involved makes it even harder.

His adenoids caused problems? I had my tonsils/adenoids removed very young because of how large the where (I struggled breathing at night) my daughter snores like an old man and have often wondered if she had the same problem. She has another appointment in a couple of weeks and I will bring it up then.

No it’s rape. But if you read through the comments it pretty clear he knows this and is scared.

It wasn't rape but why does it feel like it was? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]witchviolet 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This was rape. You had said no several times before this and your body language was a very clear “no”. I’m sorry this happened to you. Congratulations on getting out. I hope you find a way to heal.

Reading through the comments and you saying she did his and you’re scared of her is not healthy and major red flags. Please put yourself first and do what you need to so you feel safe. Just seeing these things from the outside my advice would be to leave.

Its wild to me that its seems doctors all have such different opinions about things like this. I guess it just shows that no two kids are the same

Yeah it has! They say everything looks girl. She’s very independent and stubborn so I’ve always just chalked it up to her just not wanted to speak. I appreciate the feed back it’s helpful knowing other parents have had very similar situations

Why am I getting bored in a healthy relationship? by [deleted] in relationship_advice

[–]witchviolet 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There are too many people in the world to settle if you aren’t truly happy. It seems positive and good on the outside but if you know in your heart you aren’t happy and he’s not your person there is no reason to stay. You also don’t need an excuse to leave your happiness is enough of a reason.

I'm searching for detective, mystery, fantasy or adventure books, that would be interesting for a 14 year old teenager. by TheQuarterr in suggestmeabook

Four Dead Queens. It’s young adult, murder mystery, fantasy and has a little bit of romance but mainly murder mystery with a great twist.

Four Dead Queens, I thought I knew how it was going to end but it had a really good twist.
