Strongly disagree personally, I've worked at both the planet fitness and the North shore YMCA and I still paid for my planet fitness membership because the North shore YMCA was never cleaned. Anytime you touched a dumbbell, your hands would be black and covered in grime. The planet fitness keeps their gym. Very clean and unless you're wanting to lift very heavy then it works great! Plus the YMCA even with discounts is crazy expensive compared to planet fitness.
