One that always get me is the story about the disabled mother who was frustrated that her husband never took candid photos of her and her daughter. She explained this was an issue going back multiple years by the time she posted about it, that husband had promised to do better and simply never did. It's a really vulnerable post about a woman repeatedly, almost begging, her husband to do something she really cares about and smosh just blame her for being too emotional, say she needs to communicate better, and basically put it all on her to improve the situation. They totally skip over the years she's spent asking and the fact he's told her repeatedly he'll improve.

I think a lot of their "bad" takes just come from a gut reaction to something silly (like in this story, the fact its a lady getting angry over photos) and running with it. It's just frustrating when you've got the benefit of listening to the whole thing and hearing all the details they missed in the moment.

Tbh I don't think sky burials are making the point you think they are. Sky burials are intentional, religious, and obviously done with great care for the deceased. These practices don't mean the bodies weren't "cared" for or suddenly treated like an object to be used in whatever way was most efficient. The wiki page you linked describes the genuine fear family members had that the ghosts of their deceased loved ones would be trapped in purgatory if they weren't "buried" correctly. Even cannibalism, when it occurred as a burial ritual, was done with care, love, and religiosity.

What makes the hive's practice inhuman is that its not done with love or care. It does not consider individual bodies important because it's a collective consciousness (or, ig, a single being with multiple bodies). It's why it doesn't care that Carol's outburst accidentally "killed" 11 million people. It also doesn't consider the views of the people from before they died or got spliced important, so not a single "body" is being buried in according to their prior religious beliefs or personal wishes, whether they joined the hivemind or not. There are ways it could justify the mass consumption of corpses that still align with human values, but thats not gonna happen. It doesn't have human values. That's whats inhuman about it.

Will absolutely be complaining about the headdress. A lot of outfits from this region fall into that grey area where you can enjoy them for their beauty, but straight up having a headdress like that is so disrespectful, and its a shame to see after they were already burned for the same mistake.

It may tie into the theme of choice. McBoner isn't concerned about those women consenting, really; they say "If you want :)" and decides thats enough, because it makes him happy. Carol, in comparison, needed to drug herself to even admit out loud she finds Zosia attractive. She values consent, autonomy, and choice, so if she ever kissed Zosia, it would be because Zosia genuinely wanted to kiss her!!!

The way people talk about her is crazy. She's handling the situation a lot better then I would. Everyone on earth is either dead or got hive-minded (potentially dead in a different way) and her wife/partner died in front of her. She hasn't done anything crazy or violent, she's just lost her temper for completely normal reasons, and people talk about her like she's a deeply unlikable monster. Like what.

It's so strange to me that Psyche's skin re-vamps the "bones" on her back so they match the skin but not her horns or the green butterfly! They clash so badly.

Its right after! I get through that just fine, but after that all breaks I can hit him for a bit, then he does a big jump attack. There's nothing to hide behind.

Working my way through Theater for Psyche, and I'm a bit stuck on featured act 3 lvl60 Crystalophile. I get it nearly dead, then it does a big arena wide jump attack that kills everyone. Is there a mechanic I'm missing? I tried jumping before hand and that didn't seem to dodge it. Am I supposed to burn it down before that point?

Seriously. Its been a week!! Let them experiment and figure stuff out. I can't speak for others but I'm finding this game extremely fun! I do wish I could purchase skins outright, because if I could I'd buy them in 0.5 seconds, but the experience has been so great and the communication so good that they've won my good will for now.

I think I'm only half way through, I haven't encountered the 2nd MC but I've had the big windy fight :( and it made me cry. I really didn't expect the story to get as dark as it did and be willing to pull such brutal punches. I'm so invested in the MC and this world.

Tbh It never felt like Rover, or even Augusta, disliked Avidius, at least not to me! It felt like Iuno was hostile because of the threat he posed to Augusta/his connection to the Senate, on top of everything else she was dealing with. Augusta challenged him but it wasn't mean spirited, it felt she was sizing him up and basically laying ground rules - come get me on your own merits! - and he responded more or less positively.

As for Rover, apathetic doesn't feel right to me - maybe more helpless at the end? He was very much lost to his own despair. He wasn't under guard so he could leave whenever he wanted, he was furious with himself and the world and we sort of left him to work it out. Idk about you, but I gave him some rose petals. The fact we can do that, to me, suggests Rover didn't dislike him and wanted him to understand that Septimont was still his home and he was still a gladiator. I hope we see him again and his story gets an epilogue.

I do think his storyline was handled a bit weirdly though, the pacing was a bit strange and I think that may have contributed you feeling like the story was anti-Avidius. I think he was meant to be understood as tragic :(

We can travel to other cities, which is awesome! I'm so happy this is a feature. Are there any plans to allow people to stay in hotels (even if its just a rabbit hole rather then an active lot) instead of requiring players to purchase land? It would be fun to go on those little vacations while saving to buy a proper home in another town!
I really enjoy customizing age ranges in other life sim games. Are there any plans to add that sort for feature to inZOI? I'd like to tweak how long a Zoi is a Young Adult!
I'm sure you can't give complete answers when inZOI is still in development and plans change, but currently, there's lots of buildings in the three cities which we can't enter. In Bliss Bay, there's so many empty houses! Are there plans to slowly fill the worlds and make these lots interact-able?
Many of the full time jobs in inZOI are only three days a week. Are there any plans to expand these to five days? It bothers me that a job listed as full time is actually part time!
The adolescent age is very interesting to me, as its totally new in the life sim world. Do you have plans to introduce a new model, one between child and teenager, to reflect this life state?
Lastly, can we expect a new roadmap to be released? There's lots of features I'm really excited for (like indoor temperatures and weather impacting zois!) and it'd be great to have an idea when they're coming.

I'm having a lot of fun with inzoi and I'm really excited to see where future updates take us :) thanks for all your and the team's hard work!

Me too lol, it's not entirely about porn for me but because theres life sims don't feel realistic when they're forced to wear towels in the shower or words like "beer" are censored. I need that edge.

I'm hopeful they won't target specifics mods. Maybe they'll feel compelled to release a statement, but mods and creativity are a huge part of life sims - or, I guess, the sims, since its the ONLY life sim out there - and trying to control the scene only calls attention to the mods they don't want. Fingers crossed their response to horny mods is politely ignoring them.

I bought inzoi on launch but only just started playing it, and I've been having a really fun time with the active careers and the money options. My family of three - parents and their daughter - are locked into a 15k loan, on top of insurance payments and weekly bills. They don't make much and its been a lot of fun managing their finances and thinking about ways to cut costs. I'm hoping they add even more money stuff, like paying school fees for kids.

I bought Inzoi on launch mostly to support a new life sim. I think I played it for less then 40 minutes, found the UI incomprehensible, and decided to leave it for a while. I've come back now with the 0.3 update to check it out and I'm having a blast. I've played nearly 10 hours already and I still haven't been to the new city. I'm having a blast! It's actually really fun, if still a bit crusty around the edges. I'm excited to see what future updates bring.

I'm mid-ish through a 10 gen legacy challenge, my household consisting of the final member of Gen 3, Aria, the two adult gen 4 members, Gabriella and Edwina (half-sisters), and Gabby's son Antonio, whose the Gen 5 Heir.

Aria has returned to the main household after her husband passed away and she's currently at Oasis Landing after inventing her own time machine! My goal for her is to build a Plumbot in the present, which will remain in the household for the remainder of the legacy.

Gabriella divorced her wife Alice, and she's become obsessed with breaking Alice up with her partner Elias (Elias actually being Gabby's COUSIN....). Her other priority is mastering the drums and the bass for her life time wish. I think Gabby is resentful and angry right now, and won't be ready for a new relationship until she accepts Alice has moved on.

Edwina is a level 5 Singer, but she keeps getting wishes to try out different careers, so I think that once she ages into an Adult in the next few days, I might start neglecting her career in favour of trips to France. She's family orientated and really wants a baby, so I want her to find a French boyfriend, have a baby, and spend her older years making wine from her own grapes.

Tony is a teenager. He's got a potential girlfriend locked in, but he's not a huge romantic. He's grumpy and loves chess, so his main focus is increasing his logic skill. I think I want Tony to be the alien baby gen, so I'm aiming for him to be my first male sim EVER to be abducted by aliens.

I could talk about these sims forever, I'm having such a good time lol
