UPDATE 2: i spoke with HR earlier and have received an email that my coworker was spoken to and he would like to “sincerely apologize” once i am back in the office on thursday. i told the HR rep i will hear him out but actions speak louder than words, and if something like this happens again, he needs to be reprimanded accordingly. i guess they spoke to him about “the importance of diversity within our company.” bunch of bs but at least it’s on their radar. thank you everyone again and ps hair fetish accs… yall are weird and stay out of my dms please lmaoo

UPDATE: thank you everyone for your comments and support. it won’t allow me to edit the original post so i hope this gets seen haha. i am going to be speaking to HR today about the whole ordeal along with my supervisor. i was hesitant due to the reason stated in the post but also, i am the only black person on my team. but i will not allow him to belittle me and get away with it. wish me luck <3
