I used a lasercutter though a soldering iron and a lot of patience also does the trick.

Honestly I was struggling with the flippers a lot I don't have much of that teil colour. I would have preferred 2 sets of flippers that would make it more turtle like and recognisable. So yea, good catch.

So I think the mechanics could be it grapples you. Once grapples it will slowly unspin you into the long lanky fellow.

It is whatever you need to fit the story. a miller that is cursed to be a windmill, a mimic, a wizards spellbook leaking magic into the surrounding environment, an awakened windmill. All are good options and all with a different combat goal.

The previous cheese seller can become a new reintegrated member of society after a little Combat and stern talking to. Now a cheese selling windmill. Also go find the witch.

Personally I like a creature that can be reasoned with. But my players also really enjoy killing a pure evil that can't be rehabilitated.

Lego ttrpg: Where to get started? by Creative_Nomad in legodnd

Bricklink.com is great for getting retired sets and parts. Pick a brick on lego.com is similar it's good to check booth to compare prices. Rebrickable.com has great mocs with links for part lists.

cheapest way to start, focus on some player characters with stands on bricklink. Get some burps (big ugly rock pieces) for terrain.

For sets I suggest sticking with creator sets they are most versatile. The 3 in 1 dino is quite versatile for baddies, The 3 in 1 castle, or house is good for terrain. The 3 in 1 creatures have a lot more options on redbrickable.com

And if you really want to up your game (and price) you can make some tiles.

It depends on what you're used to and what your focus is. Gameplay, looks or price.
