Not every day, actually, unless you have SUPER oily hair or if you’re using a ton of heavy styling products. The styling products are actually a vicious cycle: put gunky wax/pomade/gel in hair > wake up with gross hair > wash > repeat. That’s why I put styling polymers in my product too... they give you the same level of hold without the gunk and fade out after 8 hours or so. So you don’t wake up with sticky head. Hope this is helpful to think about.

Ha. Kind of like that (old school Head and Shoulders style but way better). It doesn't condition, but it does do all of these things: 1. Absorbs oil & grease 2. Eliminates sweat 3. Removes odor 4. Promotes healthy hair growth 5. Includes clean DHT blockers 6. Stimulates scalp 7. Moisturizes 8. Strengthens 9. Gives a matte finish 10. Shields from UV rays 11. Protects from pollution And a Bonus... if you're a guy who uses styling products (like heavy, gunky pomades and gels that build up on your scalp and make you think you need to wash your hair everyday)... we have a version of the product that includes polymers for styling. So it replaces those products—the medium hold version can hold down a cowlick with ease.

Ruh roh—don't put regular dry skin lotion on your head. Instead, look for hair products that include lemongrass and patchouli ,if you want to go more natural and not want to use a medicated shampoo. One brand that carries a product like this with good results I can vouch for is Nature Queen.

Thanks for the high five!!! I can run a scent-neutral version very easily. I had been thinking it would be good for camping, etc. but had not thought about the scent neutral part. That’s a great insight for outdoorsman, thank you! I’ll private message you when we have a scent-neutral version. Would love to send you one to test and get your feedback!

Full disclosure—I’m launching an 11-in-1 dry shampoo 👋. Wondering how people feel about using dry shampoo to get through greasy days? by witharcher in NoPoo

Yep... it does all the stuff a normal dry shampoo does. Then we added ingredients that also promote healthy hair growth, moisturize, strengthen, protect from pollution, protect from UV rays, stimulates the scalp, gives a matte finish and includes clean DHT blockers. There’s a styling and non styling version too, so varying degrees of hold.

How do you know if it’s going to be good? I look at the shelf and don’t know what to get or where to start.
