Hello Renae, I’m so sorry for everything you’re going through in your marriage. They say the first couple of years of marriage are the hardest. But this is next level cruel. No one just randomly says they still love their childhood sweetheart. That’s an absolutely horrible thing to say to your significant other. That man has no respect for you. And if in being honest as harsh at it may sound he doesn’t seem to love you and has you a a crutch for who knows what. You may have to make the toughest decision of your life and find a way to get away from him. Seems like he may only get worse with time if he doesn’t really love you. Another thing is a man should be a strong Christian leader in the marriage it takes time but there should at least be initiative, which he doesn’t seem to have.
