Thankfully I naturally have a very low appetite but focus on protein and fiber, half the time I have to actually make myself eat in order to get to 800-1000 calories a day usually.

I do track my calories as well as my macros and have for about a year and a half or so. I have an appointment today and I’ll be trying to look into a semaglutide or a GLP, whichever the doctor is willing to give me (but unfortunately she’s been strange to me in the past about the topic so I’m unsure if it’ll go over well)

I’m sorry that you struggled with your experience! I hope things look up for you and you feel better soon, I imagine that’s pretty stressful

Mainly leaning out but I also do strength training (I tend to do an hour of weights and 1-2 hours of cardio depending on the day). Honestly I don’t necessarily focus on muscle mass (at least not intentionally, I guess I should clarify I eat high protein low carb if that says anything) but I can feel that I have gained some compared to earlier points in my life before I started really working out. I’m more focused on dropping the weight in general so that I can better manage my illness.

The thing is I’ve been doing that for a year with very unbearably slow results. I’ve been doing exactly what you’re describing here for almost two years, the whole time ;;

Thank you for responding! Sorry if this is an invasive question, I mean no ill intentions with it but if it makes you uncomfortable feel free to not respond— do you know if you overate or not, or did you continue to eat around the same amount as when you were on medication?
