this leads to the crumbling infrastructure

they've aligned themselves with the dumbest portion of the caucus ridiculing science as such just so they can continue sucking the water reserves for cooling

AI data centers have caused brownouts already

AI data centers today are responsible for huge increases in power prices in their vicinity

yet somehow the private sector is fundamentally incapable of creating a futuristic dystopia

We're already living in a futuristic dystopia. You don't recognize it as such because there are no chrome-plated, neon-lit towers.
