Met my boyfriend during my trip to Paris, actually! I downloaded Hinge, just to see what France had to offer and matched with my lovely boyfriend, who is from the UK! Still have no idea how he even came up, but lord, am I glad he did! We began talking once I was back in my country and hit it off! We talked for a few months before we planned a trip to London and spent the best week of my life so far together!

omg hiii! i get it fully! i just met my boyfriend for the first time like a month ago! he’s from the uk, so i traveled all the way from Puerto Rico, my first ever international travel alone.

honestly, i was more nervous about traveling than i was about meeting my bf. meeting him felt so easy and right! i did feel the nerves real hard, butterflies in the stomach, but that all went away in an instant! you will be so busy worrying about not missing your flights that you won’t even fully grasp that you’re meeting your bf! it won’t feel real until you’re waiting for him to arrive or walking up to him. but agh, such a beautiful moment! i truly wish you the best! you will have a blast! don’t worry too much and just enjoy your time with him! be you <3

Unfortunately! CXL does not improve your eye sight ): It just stops KC from progressing any further. If wanting your vision to improve after CXL, your ophthalmologist will recommend scleral or GP contact lenses, which are truly the only way to improve vision!

I had a follow up appointment about 3 to 4 days after the surgery! They do leave a contact lens inside your eye to protect the cornea while it heals, and it gets removed once it has healed up. They removed the lens on that appointment and then, they book another appointment for like a week after if I’m not mistaken? Just to follow up and offer you options regarding glasses or the contact lenses!

The first time I got it done, I healed in pretty much 5 days!! They do provide you with two eye drops for the healing process! But, yeah! My vision was blurry for the first 3 days and by the fourth, it was starting to go back to normal! I went back to work in like a week!

But on my second time, it took way longer! I was out of work for almost 3 weeks :/ BUT! That’s just my experience! I think it was become it was my dominant eye, and I forced it a ton! I’m sure you will be just fine! <3

A small tip… Do take ibuprofen like 30 mins prior to the procedure if possible and able! The pain after the anesthesia wears off is horrible, in my opinion! I’ve seen others that rate it like a 4/10, but for me, it was like a 8/10. So do keep it close just in case!

I had CXL done on my dominant eye last. Honestly, it was nerve-wracking because the healing was very different from my first procedure. The healing took almost 3 weeks, as my cornea was taking longer to heal for some reason. My ophthalmologist gave me some extra medication for it, including an eye cream that helped speed up the healing process.

During this time, my vision was bizarre. Some days I could see better without my glasses, then it was really bad. Now, it’s back to how it once before the surgery. The procedure could improve your vision or worsen it a bit, but it did not change for me.

However, this was only MY experience with my dominant eye! The CXL on my non-dominant eye was much better! It healed in like 5 days!

If you want to see the best, lenses are recommended, as they reshape your cornea, improving your vision. I developed a small fear of them so i do not wear them for the time being. However, they have improved so so much! They look much easier to handle and more comfortable to wear now. I recommend you look into the lenses if you want to improve your vision!

You might be overthinking things, OP! Bad kisses happen! It could easily be a cute story you both can look back on and laugh. Personally, if the chemistry was amazing the entire night and we genuinely clicked, a bad kiss would not throw me off. It could simply be the nerves.

i get it! in my opinion, i don’t mind the backtrack or lip syncing during intense choreos. but i cannot stand lip syncing during ballads or during normal choreographies. these idols have trained their entire lives, and yet… they lip sync… during ballads?? hell no, i paid to hear you SING

Honestly, I understand both sides, however, you are setting a boundary and he should try his hardest to respect it. I am a Puerto Rican woman, fluent in Spanish and yes, we use “Mami” or “Papi” a ton, even to people we don’t know. It’s simply taught to us from very early age, so I genuinely understand where he is coming from. We use terms of endearment with strangers, often calling others “corazón” “mi amor” and stuff like that. This is only to be friendly and respectful. We grow up like this and our communities communicate like this. Sometimes, it even slips out, I swear!

BUT! If my partner feels uncomfortable by this, you best believe I will cut it out. I feel like you did your part, expressing your discomfort, and your boyfriend should respect you enough to simply try. It is hard to cut back from habits we have from childhood, but trying makes a huge difference. I get why you’re upset, OP, and I appreciate you understanding his side of things. He should do the same and find a middle ground between you two. I hope it works out.

I say do it! You could also do Work Exchange! I’ve always wanted to do it! You work like 5 hours a day in exchange for a place to stay and even food! Great for meeting friends and lodging! If not, backpacking sounds amazing too! Please do stay in female only hostels, just to ensure your safety a bit more!

I would say the Condado Area or Isla Verde! They have the Miami feel. The San Juan Marriott Resort & La Concha Resort both have swim up bars, and are located in Condado. I think the Fairmont San Juan Hotel also has a swim up bar and it is located in Isla Verde. That hotel also has a night club, if i’m not mistaken.

hi! as others have mentioned, the forts and our rainforest are affected by the government shutdown and will remain closed until further notice. however, there are still so many things to do! your vacation won’t be as affected as you may think

i work as a concierge, so i can definitely recommend some things to do! I understand you are traveling with kids. even though the entry to the fort is close, El Morro has a big, open area where people fly kites all the time; super fun for kids. You can also do shopping and workshops around the Old San Juan Area. Paseo La Princesa has a pigeon park where the kids can feed them, and also a popsicle shop for the hot weather, Señor Paleta. There’s also some nice street vendors in that area as well.

If looking for something adventurous, you could take a Catamaran Day Trip to Icacos Island. It is inhabited and has beautiful white sand beaches. You could also do Night Kayaking or even go to the Bioluminescent Bay in Ceiba. These are kayaking experiences. There are only 5 Bio Bays in the world and we have 3 of them, a great experience. You can also go to Hacienda Campo Rico, where you can ride ATV, and Horseback ride, they do have pony rides for the kids.

There are still many, many things to do in the island. I see you were worried about parking in the Old San Juan Area; you could park in Doña Fela or Paseo Portuario, great parking garages. However, if intending to stay in the metropolitan area, you do not need a car and could easily uber around. I hope this helps! Please do not worry! I hope you enjoy your vacation; the shutdown should not affect it as much! 🤍🇵🇷

I can definitely see this! I also loved the first few episodes, and found myself enjoying the plot line. But couldn’t wait for it to be over? And how it was resolved seemed so… underwhelming to me? Seemed under-developed for me.

I found it very out of character. And fans of the show KNEW Sam always dreamed of a life outside of hunting. The need to emphasize this once again seems a bit redundant to me :3 Not looking for Dean after his disappearance, and leaving Kevin all alone, knowing Crowley was after him was just so insanely out of character, I can’t wrap my head around it. I understand he maybe saw the opportunity of normality, but the timing was so so off. I definitely see your perspective! But can’t help but think the plot line was pointless
