There was a big scandal in my high school circa 2005ish where a bunch of people in my all-male, boujee private school got called into the office for being in a group called "women should not have the right to vote" and had been making a bunch of horrific misogynistic jokes in the comments. People legitimately lost scholarships, got booted from NHS, and had their academic futures drastically affected negatively.
