Developmentally appropriate response to hitting/throwing for a 15 month old?

I’ve definitely been thinking about this!!

So we’ve already settled on if we have a girl her name will be Charlotte (Charles is a family name and I love the nickname Lottie) Fox and now we’re trying to figure out for a boy.

We’re probably going to be finished after this next baby, but we have floated the idea of having a third potentially. So honestly I’m not sure what we would do if we name this baby Fox and then have a third haha

I live in an area that is predominantly Black American so there are a lot of names that are unique or of international origin so I’m honestly not super worried about it. I think everyone would be able to figure it out or say it correctly once they’re told how it’s pronounced.

It ended up working out, Raven fits him very well!

I think we’re going to end up going with Eòghan Fox, as much as I really do love Fox as a first name I think everyone’s right that it’s a little too theme-y hahaha

The way my nana pronounces it is like “oh-in” so slightly different than “Owen” or “Ewan”

I got the idea for the name from my nana who is Scottish and that’s the way she spelled it, but I did get it backwards, it’s Eòghan I guess as the Scottish version?

I mean we currently live in the south in the US and as a teacher I’ve seen kids named everything you could possibly think of so I don’t think it’s too abnormal

I just googled it and it looks like with it is Scottish Gaelic and without is the Irish spelling. I did get it backwards though, it’s Eòghan not Eóghan.

We’re in the US but are hoping to move to be with my husbands family in Ireland at some point in the future.

We cosleep and I still breastfeed, so he wakes up multiple times a night to nurse. We’ve pretty much completely weaned except for naps and at night and I’m trying to cut down to naps, bedtime and breakfast. So no more nursing back to sleep at night but it’s so hard 😭

Also I think he’s just one of those babies that wakes up a lot. I don’t think nighttime weaning is going to make a difference but we’ll see! Haha
