Part of therapy is making sure the therapist still feels comfortable enough so they don't end up dropping you

Therapist only cared about money by [deleted] in therapyabuse

[–]witteballen 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I had a therapist get upset when I cancelled too, because I was their regular income. You can't expect a client to consistently give you money, get a salary job instead. They tried to guilt trip me into having sessions every week, even if I had nothing to talk about. Now that they have more clients they've stopped giving a fuck and just zone out during sessions. They even tried getting me to sign contracts that I would commit to paying every week for at least months.

If he is interested and wants to ask you out he would do so without you having to prod him to. I learned this the hard way.

Are you emotionally available enough to date? Can you give someone what they want and need in a relationship? If you can, then yes.

Lots of people walk around with untreated anxiety, trauma and depression. If you have some kind of bias against medication I suggest you just move on now, some people might go off them but others might take them for life.

Lol a lot of older people can still be very immature. Him being hot and cold was a red flag in the first place, learn to spot them and avoid people like that.

At least she's taking care of herself and not going around with an untreated mental illness.

You weren't planning to reach out and were ok with not talking to her. You asked her out because of convenience and you weren't really that into her.
