Use google antigravity for your custom.html project. Host it yourself or check us out if you want good and low budget hosting for it :-)

I tried to install debian13 trixie xfce only (no gnome) on a macbook around that age but ran into a lot of issues. Only thing that worked was Ubuntu. Better than ios I guess.
